Hello, my name is Shawn, and I’m National level Figure Competitor with the NPC. I have been competing since 2009, and I love everything having to do with the physique competition world. I am extremely passionate about it and I am here to give you the best possible package to bring on stage.

I enjoy training myself and I enjoy seeing the results, but my passion is not in training other people in diet and the gym. I’d rather hire a trainer for that.
So what am I passionate about?
The Details.
I have always been creative, thank my mom for teaching me to sew at age 6 and craft from the time I could control my fingertips.
Over the years I have perfected these arts and use them daily. I love designing and creating more then anything else to be honest. Anything with an artistic flair, and I’m draw to it.
So I began making my own suits… and others took notice. People kept asking me to create suits for them. I’d always say no. There are plenty of talents suit designers out there. If I was going to do something, I wanted it to be all ME and unique and special…. something I could dive into head first and love from start to finish.
Then it came to me….
I have been in theater, performance, music, acting, modeling, etc since I was 3 years old. I got started in Physique competitions because I wanted to find something where I could marry my stage talents with an active and healthy lifestyle. Physique competitions seemed like the logical choice… and it was. I’ve done very well in the few years I have been competing but the main reason for that was not because of my physique. It was because of my stage background.
See, the aspect of this sport that I excel at is commanding attention on stage.
So even when my physique was flawed, I always did well in my placings because I knew how to get the attention of the judges.
Some people are born with it, other’s learn it. I don’t know if it was something I was born with, but I can sure tell you I know how to Turn it On on stage.
And that is where the idea for Competition Couture came from.
